Boss backs Villa breakthrough

Sir Alex Ferguson says United will be up against an Aston Villa side on Saturday more than capable of breaking into the top four.Martin O’Neill’s men currently lie fifth in the table, just a point behind the Reds thanks to their 2-0 victory at Arsenal last weekend.Sir Alex was hugely impressed by their display at the Emirates and believes they have a good chance of claiming one of this season's Champions League spots if they keep up their good form. “I think they can break into the top four,” he told reporters at his pre-match press conference. “Villa are an improving side and I thought their performance at Arsenal was outstanding."I think Martin has done a fantastic job there. He is without question one of the best managers in the game. The only way you can judge managers is by looking at how they’ve proved themselves over a period and he’s done that at Leicester, Celtic and now Villa.“He keeps a consistent team selection – I’ve always noticed that about his sides, he doesn’t make many changes. So it’ll be a tough challenge on Saturday, but our record is fantastic at Villa Park and hopefully it remains that way.”The Reds will be buoyed by the fact they have not lost a league game at Villa Park since August 1995 and have enjoyed unbridled success down the years in FA Cup semi-finals at the stadium.“Villa Park just seems to be a ground that suits us,” said Sir Alex. “I couldn’t tell you why, but we always play well
